What photos work best? Formal photos, personal snap shots and professional photos all work fine. The most important part is a clear and detailed image of the subject(s). Sending more than one photo is helpful to show details such as eye color, hair color and facial details. You may mail in or e-mail your images.
What are your suggestions for digital images? Scanned, copied and printed photos work fine. If you have any doubts send the images in for review.
Will my photo be returned? Yes. The photo will be shipped with the portrait.
What is your return policy? Refunds are not provided to paintings that have been approved.
What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations are subject to a fee. The fee is based on supplies used and time lapse since starting the order.
Can I see the painting before you ship? We will provide you with an e-mail image of the portrait to approve. This is also a time for you to request small modifications. Once it is approved the varnish is applied. Once the varnish is dry and cured it is ready to be shipped. Please visit the how to order page for more information.
Why do I have to pay more for painted portraits with more than one subject? Painting a portrait of two subjects is equivalent to painting two single subject portraits. We base our pricing scale on several levels, please visit the prices/estimates page for more information on figuring out cost. Each portrait is unique and requires an estimate before a final cost can be determined. Please contact us for your free estimate.
Do you offer framing? No. We do not offer framing at this time.
